Paria Shirvani is an assistant costume designer and fashion designer based in Toronto, Canada. Paria began her career at Joe Fresh as a Product Developer under the direction of Club Monaco founder Joseph Mimran. She has worked on multi-season runway collections at New York Fashion Week with designers Jeremy Scott and Costello Tagliapetra.
In 2012, Paria founded her eponymous ready-to-wear clothing label which has been featured on the runway at Montreal and Toronto Fashion Week. Her work has gained recognition through fashion media including Flare magazine, FASHION Magazine, Glassbook and The Globe & Mail, amongst others. Shortly after, Paria founded a costuming business called Uniluxe providing original design and product development for clients such as MAC Cosmetics, Philosophy, President's Choice and Roots Canada.
Since 2016, Paria, also a member of IATSE Local 873, has worked in the costume department for high-profile network television shows including Star Trek Discovery, Titans, American Gods and Spinning Out. Paria holds a Bachelor of Design in Fashion from Ryerson University and Diploma from George Brown College.
